OUTSTANDING MARINE EQUIPMENT AWARD FOR VAN DER LEUN
On the 8th Vietship Exhibition in Hanoi, the Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Transport Mr. Nguyen Van Cong awarded Van der Leun the Outstanding Marine Equipment Award. The award, proudly received by our General Manager in Vietnam Ms. Hoang Hong Diep, was presented for the custom design and production of the main switchboard of two hopper dredgers for the Russian market.
Technical achievement
These vessels operate under severe weather conditions on the Wolga river. Van der Leun adjusted the design of the switchboards in order for them to withstand these harsh conditions. This technical achievement made the jury decide to present Van der Leun with this award.
